VISION
The Walden Lake Elementary PTA has built a strong tradition, with eleven straight years of 100% parent and faculty membership as well as thousands of hours of volunteer service. Our belief is that by working together toward common goals, the parents, faculty and staff of Walden Lake can accomplish great things ~ Hence, our Vision:

MISSION & GOALS
• Build Parent Involvement
• Improve attendance at PTA meetings
• Increase volunteer hours
• Encourage parent participation at parent/teacher conferences, Open House
nights and other events
• Explore non-traditional ways for parents to become involved.
Act as a Liaison Between Parents and Administration
• Provide tools for communicating ideas, issues and concerns
• Communicate ideas, issues and concerns
• Generate and offer potential solutions
Implement Necessary Fund-raising Projects
• Clearly communicate financial plans and objectives
Be an Educational Resource to Parents
• Address/discuss safety concerns and ideas
• Communicate legislative issues impacting education
• Provide parenting tips via PTA newsletter
